The Corner

  1. Jason, clumsily, raced out of the house into the rain, quickly. Smoothly, the school bus was approaching his corner. Other children, nearer the bus stop, were strolling, slowly, toward that corner. Under umbrellas, children huddled, coldly, as they awaited for its arrival. The bus, late, finally pulled up and stopped, abruptly. Tired, Jason got there just in time before it pulled away.
